Hobble Creek canyon is in Springville, Utah and it is gorgeous this time of year. I haven't done many races close to home; It seems like I always choose races that are far away so the Hobble Half was nice.
The course seemed a bit harder than I had anticipated. The last 5 miles had quite a few more hills than I thought and since they were at the end, they were a bit tougher. For sure, the Moab Half Marathon course is easier than this one.
Overall, the race was tons of fun. I saw a lot of people that I knew out on the course and Brandon was at the finish!

The shirt for this is super cute-I love it! I'd walk I mean run in it just for the shirt. :)

You are such a superstar, Connie!
Connie! you did awesome! I'm impressed you did this all by your lonesome! There is no way I could keep that pace running 13 miles!! ..So brown trout is pretty fishy.. But I grew up on fishy tastin fish so I actually enjoy it! You guys should hike up to the caves. They are really neat!
Oh seeing those pictures makes me miss home! That church you ran by and the park hold many childhood memories! I'm glad you did this race, some day I want to run it! Nice job!
okay, it looks like you are going seriously fast. hold on to your shorts, I am calculating this... 8 minute pace? jeez, that is quick for 13.1 miles! do you train all the time ..you must train ..jeez
You are an inspiration- my goodness! Kudos to you (agan!)
ps, you look WAY too good after such an intense run. NO FAIR.
you go girl! how does brando feel about his girl out running him? j/k
that's an awesome time.
So, I actually bought my swimming suit online. But there is a spa in American Fork I think that sells them. so I went and tried them on before I left. I would have bought it there, but they didn't have my size. I only tried on an extra small and a large. So I kinda guessed and went with a med. Good thing it turned out! Anyway, I don't know if they still have them there but ask Joni. She'll remember the name of the spa if you're still interested! :)
Wow, Connie, I'm so impressed. Great job! You're in amazing shape. You and your husband are so cute.
