Rock On
I cannot believe I gave in to playing this game. Brandon has been really wanting me to join him in playing the XBOX 360, but I am just not into video games that much. (Unless of course it's Super Nintendo Mariokart from way back in the day- that was so much fun.) Anyways, he finally got me to join him in a round on the demo of Guitar Hero III and now I am addicted. In fact, I am so addicted that I asked him to buy the game. It came in the mail yesterday and it really is a fun game to play. We have face-offs and he rocks just about every time. The best is when we get so into it that we have to sit up on the edge of the couch or even stand really close to the TV!

Oh my SHniKiEs! I married a nerd...
Brandon has been working on his senior project for electrical engineering this semester. The project is to build a 'quadrotor' which is an autonomous flying object. It is really interesting and fun to go up to the quadrotor lab at BYU and watch him program various things to make the quadrotor fly on its own. Every couple of weeks the class has a competition to see who has come the farthest with getting the object to actually fly AND on its own. This past competition, Brandon came in first. He was actually the only person to be able to get the quadrotor to fly by itself. Many of the other people had the quadrotor flying, however, it was controlled. Here are some pictures of his quadrotor. It is not the most attractive of objects, but we are working on that part later!

Out with the old, In with the new!
I spent all this time making my page pretty and I didn't even have a post to go with it, so here it is...
I have spent the last ? hours trying to make my Connie and Brandon Blog a bit more enticing to the eye. Let me just say, that was a lot of work. I was supposed to go for a run this morning but I kept telling myself I would go when I figured this out and then that out. Low and behold, it's 1:30 in the afternoon already and I have to go pick up Brandon from school soon. I guess one day of not running won't hurt (bad connie). I must say though, after all the downloading of cute little things and reprogramming of HTML, I feel a tad bit computer smarter. Jumbles of characters all lined up in perfect harmony can just make you feel that way. Thanks to blogging, I am happy to say that I have overcome my fear of notepads filled with jumbled jargon. Plus, I now think blogging is more fun- Cory, that was proper grammar:). Well friends, I look forward to future blogging.

WHaT a StUd
I have the best husband ever! For the last 3 nights in a row, Brandon has cooked dinner and done all the dishes. It was such a treat for me to have a break and not just a one day vaca. It was three whole days. Brandon, thanks a million for all you do for me. I am so blessed to be with you. You are wonderful. I love you!
Okay, everyone else. Sorry for the mush. Can anyone tell me how to post pics in the block form where they are all close together rather than separated? I can't figure it out.
